Job Description:
This is a field based position on rotation reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.  Key responsibilities include compliance with the Computerised Maintenance Management System – GSAP to ensure safe and efficient operations; assisting in maintaining and establishing adequate levels of consumables and strategic mechanical spare parts at plant; participating in gas tests and personal isolations as per permit to work and confined space entry permits; assisting in implementation of modifications at site through approved Engineering Change Requests; raising notifications of failures as and when required and carrying out preliminary investigations for failures.

Skills & Experience
A three year Diploma in Mechanical discipline with two years of recognised trade apprenticeship training in petrochemical/process industry; 5-7 years experience in maintaining and servicing of rotary equipment.  Previous experience in servicing/overhauling of rotating equipment, welding/fabrication and PSV/control valve refurbishment would be considered as an added advantage. Should be computer literate with good command of written and spoken English.
