Job Description:
Must be able to regularly and reliably work night shift (9:00 PM to 6:00 AM) in order to coincide with client’s daytime hours of operation in the US.  Due to a demanding processing calendar, the candidate must also be flexible and available to work overtime on a regular basis, including occasional holidays.
Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years recent, detail oriented accounting experience and be familiar with basic accounting concepts, practices, and procedures .
Account auditing and reconciliation, maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various detailed accounting statements and financial reports are samples of accounting duties which would translate well.
Candidate must be willing to take his skills with numbers in an accounting environment and with training, successfully apply them to a payroll environment.
Candidate must be computer literate and have recent, hands-on experience using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting (or payroll) software.
Candidate must have a demonstrated track record in recent employment the following qualities, and should be able to give specific examples if interviewed:
Regularly performing detailed number calculations with a high degree of accuracy.
Reliably managing a heavy flow of electronic information without missing key information.

Regularly displaying a sense of urgency and good judgment to successfully meet reoccurring, tight deadlines.
Being extremely well organized with reasonably quick memory.
Double checking his own work and constantly auditing and analyzing data.
Candidate must also have clear English speaking and writing skills for interfacing directly with US employees as an official representative of the payroll function.
College degree strongly preferred but will consider suitably applicable work experience as a substitute.
